This month, Professor Thomas Laqueur is joining the ‘Pathologies of Solitude’ project as Queen Mary’s IHSS Distinguished Visiting Fellow.

Amy Hungerford is the Bird White Housum Professor of English at Yale University, and will deliver this lecture as part of her Distinguished Visiting Fellowship at Queen Mary University of London.

Barbara Taylor is Professor of Humanities in the Schools of History and English & Drama at Queen Mary University of London. In her inaugural lecture, she explores the long history of solitude.
